WGPSN has extensive experience with Federal Plans of Development (POD) that are created for oil and gas wells on federal lands to meet Bureau of Land Management criteria in the western United States. Our POD team understands the steps necessary to secure approval for development of federal minerals on public and private surface in a cost effective and timely manner.
Our local team is comprised of licensed Professional Engineers, certified GIS professionals and other support personnel that have developed excellent relationships with the relevant regulatory agencies and feel that these relationships prove to be beneficial to our clients’ needs. Our expertise is based upon our knowledge of Rocky Mountain basins and commitment to meeting the needs of our clients and the environment. These plans include criteria for the following areas:

Unconventional gas production requires a detailed understanding of produced water considerations and the related procedures required to manage, transport and dispose of large amounts of water. From our extensive experience with unconventional gas program development, we have a demonstrated approach to planning water management strategies that take into account the various uses and mitigation practices, as well as the environmental concerns that apply. NBU currently provides water management expertise in the following areas:
